On Friday night, August 2, at approximately 11:50, a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested an intoxicated Plymouth man who was driving a truck.
Deputy Haygood was eastbound on U.S. 30 near Pioneer Drive and saw a truck northbound on Pioneer Drive slow to stop at the intersection nearly, causing a collision. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the truck and found the driver, Shelton Hensley, 49, of Plymouth to be impaired.
Hensley was transported to the Marshall County Jail where Hensley submitted to a chemical breath test, revealing his BAC to be greater than .15%. Shelton Hensley was booked into the Marshall County Jail for operating a vehicle with an ACE of .15% or more and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
