Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters announced Friday morning that the Randolph Street Bridge, located north of Baker Street and South of Plymouth Goshen Trail and running through Centennial Park over the Yellow River, will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC until further notice.

During the recent Countywide Bridge Inspection and Inventory Program, engineering inspectors found that Randolph Street Bridge went from bad to worse very quickly. It was deemed unsafe, and an emergency closure to ALL TRAFFIC was requested.

The Randolph Street Bridge is scheduled for replacement in 2025. As decisions are made in the near future, further information will be sent out or posted to help plan for the future.

County Highway crews will dump stone at each end of the bridge approaches on the north and south sides of the bridge and post "Bridge/Road Closed."
