United Way of Marshall County is excited to announce the launch of its new platform for receiving applications! This new platform is user-friendly, enables the applicant to save their work and come back later, and provides the applicant with access to check the status of their application.
United Way R4 Grants provide flexible resources to 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organizations working in Marshall County to ensure that basic needs and essential services are being addressed to better support individuals and organizations in Marshall County.
United Way R4 grantmaking will address gaps in services and increase the capacity of organizations to meet the basic needs of Marshall County's most vulnerable individuals and families. Basic needs can encompass a wide range of programs, services, interventions, and assistance to communities beyond food, shelter, rent/utility assistance, clothing, and medical care. Consideration will be given to funding proposals or partners that can make the case that something that is funded feeds directly into social determinants of health.
United Way of Marshall County will begin receiving applications immediately through March 1, 2023. Please click here and it will direct you to the login page. Each applicant will need to create an account to apply for an R4 grant. This is a “one-time” registration requirement. After your organization’s account is established, you will be able to log in to the application forms and check the status at your convenience. Please note that currently, the Marshall County nonprofit network is reporting rising needs for basic support such as food and housing assistance. Requests for support will continue to be prioritized based on changing needs in the community. Following the March R4 Grants Committee Meeting, applications will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.
