On Saturday at about 7:30 p.m., multiple reports of a suspected impaired driver sent Plymouth Police on the hunt.

The impaired driver was observed near the intersection of Oak Drive and Jefferson Street.  Officer Thornton located the vehicle and observed driving behavior before conducting a traffic stop on State Road 17 and Deer Trail.

The driver was identified as Richard Urbina, 43, of 6A Road in Plymouth. The officer detected a strong odor of alcohol when speaking to Urbina and standardized field sobriety tests were performed and failed. Urbina consented to a chemical test, which resulted in a blood alcohol content level of .110.

Urbina was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, operating a vehicle while intoxicated - endangering, and neglect of a dependent.
