After a short vehicle pursuit Wednesday afternoon, Plymouth Police arrested a Wabash man.

Officer Krynock attempted to conduct a traffic stop for an infraction on a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Chad H. Jackson.

Jackson fled the scene and led officers on a short pursuit until his engine suffered a catastrophic failure at Lake Avenue and Oak Drive.

Jackson was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and driving while suspended with a prior. He was given a court date of March 11 and a $1,500 cash bond.
