Plymouth Police were able to identify a suspect in the theft of a speaker on Aug. 24 because the property owner had surveillance video.

On Tuesday afternoon, an officer from the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to 900 West Harrison Street to investigate a speaker theft. The victim had video of the theft and the suspect's vehicle.

Police identified the suspect as Jamie Nunez, 48, of Warsaw. It was determined that Nunez was staying at the Economy Inn in Plymouth.

The officer located Nunez just before 4 p.m., took him into custody, transported him to the Marshall County Jail, and booked him for theft.

The stolen property was returned to the victim.
