The upbeat, soul pop-driven live show transforms for one night only at The Wild Rose Moon into “Strings, Stories & Songs”. Thomas will feature her most story-driven music, featuring both previously released and upcoming new music from her highly anticipated next album, due September 27, 2024. All guests will be gifted an autographed 5x7” photo from the artist.
On September 21st, the dynamic musical duo Rough & Tumble will be back on the Wild Rose Moon stage. From their upbeat, commanding stage presence and sharp banter to their earworm-inducing melodies and heartstring lyrics, this thrift-store Folk-Americana duo refuses to bring the haggard road-worn stereotype to their audience---even though they’ve earned it. In fact, The Rough & Tumble have been elbowing out of most stereotypes. The Rough & Tumble, a dynamic duo comprised of Mallory Graham and Scott Tyler, have been captivating audiences with their unique blend of dumpster-folk and thrift store-Americana for over a decade.

She has recorded fourteen albums of mostly original songs, exploring folk, blues, and jazz idioms featuring her acclaimed12 string guitar and mountain dulcimer playing. A musician who has always hated categories, she describes herself as a "creative noisemaker," which has irritated some critics but delighted many audiences, who learn to expect anything at a Schmidt concert, hymn, poem, bawdy verse, torch song, satire, and the gamut of emotions. Her live performances are not to be missed.
