Wood arrested by Plymouth Police of OWI

A Plymouth man was arrested on Friday, February 7th, after an officer with the Plymouth Police Department observed a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop.

At 10:52 p.m., Officer Witkowski observed a vehicle committing a traffic violation at a traffic light and initiated a traffic stop at East Jefferson Street and Kingston Road. The driver, Jeremy Tyler Wood, 28, of 9th Road in Plymouth, was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Wood was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in at 1:05 a.m. for operating while intoxicated.  He was released at 10 a.m. after his cash bond was paid.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
