Cary L. Albert, 62, of Plymouth

Cary L. Albert, age 62, of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in his home.

Cary was born on January 5, 1961 in South Bend, IN to Larry and Marilyn (Veney) Albert. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from LaVille High School in 1979. He had associate degrees in both horticulture and drama/theatre. He married Scott Henry Bogue on September 17, 2016. He was a 10 year 4-H member in Marshall County. He was self-employed as an amazing and creative interior and exterior designer and was also known for his beautiful floral design. He could take almost anything and create something amazing. He also enjoyed landscaping design. He was known for designing events like weddings, birthday parties, and funeral florals.  He volunteered at AIDS Assist of South Bend by arranging and designing events. One special accomplishment was singing with Kurt in the South Bend Symphonic Choir in a performance at the Kennedy Center in June of 2023.

Cary is survived by his mother, Marilyn Albert of La Paz, IN; his sisters: Shelly (Dave) Norman of La Paz, IN; and Melissa (Kevin) Colvin of La Paz, IN; his estranged spouse, Scott Bogue; his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and his special friend Kurt Mikel of La Paz, IN.

Cary is preceded in death by his father, Larry Albert.

Cremation has been chosen and a celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
