Edward Wayne DiCharia, age 69 of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in his home.
Edward was born on April 21, 1954 in Chicago, IL to Edward and Rose Verline (Smith) DiCharia. He served in the United States Army from March 10, 1972 to November 15, 1972. He worked as a carpenter, and a chef in a Cordon Bleu Culinary School. He enjoyed painting in his spare time.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Christy Marie DiCharia-Shew (James D. Shew, Jr.) of Chicago, IL; his son, Demetrus Balboa (Erica) DiCharia of Chicago, IL; his sisters: Mary Anne (Thomas) Milard of Chicago, IL; Veronica Dowling of Lake Station, IN; his brothers: Michael (Colleen) Sparr of Indiana; Robert Sparr of Plymouth, IN; Johnathon (Lorrine) Sparr of Plymouth, IN; Michael “Little Man” (Gina) Madros of Arizona; his grandchildren: Meckenzie DiCharia; Skylar DiCharia; and Mason DiCharia; his previous wife, Maureen DiCharia; and many nieces and nephews.
Edward is preceded in death by his sister, Michelle “Pokie” Madros.
Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned.
The Deaton Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home in Plymouth is assisting the DiCharia Family with arrangements.
