Guy E. Snider, 63, of Plymouth

Guy E. Snider, 63, commonly known as, “Snider,” passed away at home on September 20, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and “the boys.” He was born on September 28, 1960 to Shirley Snider in Plymouth.

A hardworking man, Snider owned and operated Snider Construction. He mentored his son-in-law Chris Yanez in the construction business and enjoyed working together. Snider was known for his funny personality and not taking things too seriously; one of the attributes that his crew looked up to. In his free time, Snider was meticulous when restoring old cars; most recently, his Road Runner.

Those who knew Snider, knew how much he cherished his family. He loved spending time with those he loved, and grew especially close with his granddaughter, Skyla. They loved munching on snacks while watching tv together. She brought comfort to those who loved Snider because they knew that she was there to keep him company.

Snider was known for his love of parties for any and all occasions. He would create haunted houses in the barn to scare the grandchildren and would decorate his house for the holidays with over 35,000 lights that would be debuted the week before Thanksgiving.

Snider will be missed by his mother, Shirley Foshee; children, Angela (Chris) Yanez, Victoria (Braden) Cottrell, and Bethany (Chris) Joseph; grandchildren, Jayden, Skyla, Terryn Rai, Lyanna, Kaydence, Laylah, Dallas, Berklee, Briggs, Matthew, Gabby, Jordyn, Madalyn, Wyatt, and Emmitt; siblings, Gary Snider and Dave (Stephanie) Snider; and “the boys,” Jetty and Rhino.

A special thank you from the family to Snider’s best friend, Sparky, for your dedicated friendship.

He is preceded in death by John Foshee (Poppy).

A Hoorah in honor of Snider will be held from 1-5PM with a catered meal on Saturday, September 28, 2024 in the West Pavilion at the Argos Community Park, 560 W. Walnut Street, Argos, IN 46501.
