Harry Albert Gildner, age 85, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, in Plymouth IN.
Harry was born August 24, 1937, in Chicago, IL to Dewey Albert and Margaret (Nind) Gildner. He graduated from Culver High School in 1954. He served in the United States Navy from July 14, 1955 until honorably discharged on December 1, 1964. He married Diana Keiser on August 6, 1960. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, nature photography, and was part of the team that initiated the Menominee Marsh development.
Harry was a very caring husband and father and will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Harry is survived by his wife, Diana (Keiser) Gildner of Plymouth, IN; his children: Lynn Gildner of Plymouth, IN; and Lance (Joanne Pelton) Gildner of Dayton, OH; his grandchildren Harry Grant Gildner of Dayton, OH; and James Ryan Gildner of Dayton, OH.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Margaret Gildner, Culver, IN; his brother Dewey Gildner, Plymouth, IN; and his sister Margaret Mary Gildner, Chicago, IL.
Following Harry’s wishes, there will be no public funeral or funeral service.
