Jeannie Marie Swygart, 66, of Plymouth

Jeannie Marie Swygart, 66, left this world peacefully on August 27, 2024. A lifelong resident of Plymouth, she was born on May 1, 1958  to Lloyd Espich and Mary Jean Komanich.

Her vibrant spirit touched everyone she met. Jeannie devoted herself to her family and embraced life with a heart full of kindness. She married Ken Swygart on June 18, 1977, and although their marriage eventually came to an end, their bond of friendship remained strong. Jeannie held Ken in high regard, and together they nurtured their two wonderful sons, Bryan and Jason. Bryan preceded them in death in 1999.

Later in life, Jeannie found a true companion in Brian Smith, who stood by her side, offering unwavering support and sharing in her joys, including running out for her favorite treats to satisfy her sweet tooth during her final months. Their friendship brought her great comfort and joy.

With a creative spirit, Jeannie enjoyed activities such as egg painting and crafts. She also found solace in her garden, where she tended to her plants.

Jeannie will always be remembered for her gentle nature and the love she radiated. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.

Jeannie will be missed by her son, Jason Swygart and his father, Ken Swygart; siblings, James (Charlene) Espich, Jennifer (Jeff) Beatty, Jacqueline Hite, and Joseph Espich; nieces and nephews, Amanda Gardner, Alicia Hite, Lynndie Montgomery, Dale Hite, Ryan James, Kathrine Milliser, and Mary Beatty.; and best friend, Brian Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Mary; and son, Bryan.

A graveside service will be held at 2PM on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Oakhill Cemetery, 1300 Chester Street, Plymouth, IN 46563 with Pastor Chuck Krieg officiating.
