Judy A. McCollough, age 83 of Bourbon, IN passed away on September 6, 2021 at 6:45 a.m. in Life Care Center of Rochester, IN.
Judy was born the daughter of Lemuel Bejamine (Ben) Gilley and Anna Viloa Canaan on June 4, 1938 in Plymouth, IN. Judy was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1957. She loved being an active member of Inwood United Methodist Church. She retired from her career as an archive manager at the Marshall County Historical Society Museum. She also had fun teaching leatherworking and painting, but her main hobby was genealogy. Judy married Dale L. McCollough on March 14, 1958 and loved raising their family together until he passed on February 25, 2016.
Judy will be missed by her children: Doreen Kay Grayless of Linton, IN; Kerry L. Edmonds of Bourbon, IN; Jo L. (Phil Piwowarski) McCollough of Bourbon, IN; Kevin D. McCollough of Bourbon, IN; and Michael L. McCollough of Bourbon, IN; her grandchildren: Megan Wilson; Erin (Daniel) Jerison; Andrew (Shandi) Wilson; Kylie (Kevin) Mclenithan; and Caleb McCollough; her great-grandchildren: Aiden Wilson; Adley Wilson; Benjamine Jerison; Milo Mclenithan; and her sister, Danice Harding of Middlebury, IN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dale, her sisters, Jean Gilbert and Kay Holem, and her brother, Richard Belt.
Visitation services will be held on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main St. Bourbon, IN) with Pastor Jeff Starkey or Doug Spurlock.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main St. Bourbon, IN) with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, (Bourbon, IN).
The family asks that memorial contributions go to Inwood United Methodist Church or Marshall County Historical Society Museum.
