Kevin Gardner, age 67 of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in Knoxville, TN.
Kevin was born to Kenneth and Mardell (Ross) Gardner on December 15, 1954 in South Bend, IN. He was a lifelong resident of the Plymouth, IN area and a high school graduate of John Glenn High School. He attended Ancilla College where he earned an Associate degree. He married Cindy Judd on November 26, 1977. He refereed and coached Plymouth volleyball and softball, and he also coached John Glenn Jr. High boys’ basketball. He attended Koontz Lake Missionary Church of Walkerton, IN where he led congregational songs. He loved farming, golfing, sports, and serving God, but loved his family most of all.
Kevin will be missed by his wife, Cindy Gardner of Plymouth, IN; his sons: Daniel Gardner and companion, Jaylan of Plymouth, IN; Nathan Gardner and companion, Adam of Plymouth, IN; his sisters: Karla Hostetler of Middlebury, IN; and Kerry (Clay) Sasser of Raleigh, NC.
Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mardell Gardner.
Visitation service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. EST/5:00 – 8:00 p.m. CST at Koontz Lake Missionary Church (8044 N. State Rd. 23, Walkerton, IN 46574).
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. EST/11:00 a.m. CST at Koontz Lake Missionary Church (8044 N. State Rd. 23, Walkerton, IN 46574) with Pastor Brian Baughman presiding.
Burial will take place in Tyner Cemetery (4B Rd., Tyner IN).
