CLAYPOOL- Lloyd E. Tillman, 96, passed away at 11:10 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2022.
Born in Plymouth, Indiana on May 6, 1926, Lloyd was the son of Owen Daniel and Thelma Carol (Eby) Tillman. He graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1944.
On a blind date Lloyd met Jessie Marcelle Markley. They would wed in Nappanee, Indiana on December 15, 1947.
A hard-working farmer, Lloyd farmed in Marshall County and in 1962, in Kosciusko County.
Lloyd and Jessie loved RV camping and playing cards, especially euchre. He also enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his children: Pat (Joe) Walters of Claypool, Gary (Linda) Tillman of Bremen, Becky (Eddie) Drudge of Claypool and Dale (Deb) Tillman of Claypool; 14 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and great granddaughter.
Private burial will be held in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
