Michael A. Bunton, age 71 of Plymouth, IN passed away on February 8, 2022 in his home with his loving family by his side.
Michael was born on November 18, 1950 to Warren and Martha (Pointon) Bunton in LaPorte, IN. He married Marlene Lolmaugh on September 4, 1971 in the First United Methodist Church of Plymouth, IN. He served in the United States Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver for Chase Leasing, and also worked for Monaco Coach Corporation and Bomarko, Inc. He enjoyed racing stock cars, camping, fishing, was a shade tree mechanic, and loved spending time with his family.
Michael will be missed by his wife, Marlene; his daughters: Shelley Marsiliano of Plymouth, IN; Dawn Clemons (John Potter) of Monterey, IN; his grandchildren: Melissa Lolmaugh; Adam Lolmaugh; Kristy (Derek) Rex; Justin Clemons; Ashley Clemons; Megan Clemons; Jessica Clemons; his great-grandchildren: Raelynn; Roman; and Lorelie; his sisters: Donna Cannon of Nappanee, IN; Margaret (Greg) Carroll of Plymouth, IN; Sherry (Kenny) Lindsey of Donaldson, IN; Rose Cook of Plymouth, IN; his brothers: David Pointon of Plymouth, IN; Doug (Glenna) Bunton of Plymouth, IN; Warren (Carolyn) Bunton of Grovertown, IN; Ron (Cara) Bunton of Bremen, IN; and Don (Tina) Bunton of Koontz Lake, IN; along with his wife’s family and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Martha Bunton; and his sisters: Laura Arvin and Ellen Scott.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).
Funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home with Chaplain Scott Brown officiating.
