Michael J. Dickson, 80, of Plymouth

Michael J. Dickson, age 80 of Plymouth, IN passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 12:03 p.m. in his home.

Michael was born the son of Henry and Naomi (Compton) Dickson on July 16, 1941 in Inwood, IN. He graduated from Bourbon High School in 1959. He married Pamela Wright Bradley on September 20, 1986 and they have been together for 35 years. He also had a prior marriage to Joy Mellott for 23 years. He enjoyed his career as a sheet metal fabricator for Zimmer where he was known as Tinman. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union of South Bend, IN. He also enjoyed being a part of Merkie and Missfit Puppet Ministry and creating joy with his face painting. This amazing man always had a sense of humor, always bringing joy and encouragement wherever he went.

Michael is survived by his wife, Pamela; his daughters: Becki (Brian) Flora of Etna Green, IN; Carmen (Don) Chapman of Bourbon, IN; Angie (Joe) Racolta of Syracuse, IN; Shelli Dickson (Kyle Howard) of Bitely, MI; his sons: Timothy (Wendy Fairchild) Ellis of Warsaw, IN; Troy (Shannon) Ellis of Albuquerque, NM; Shane Bradley of Warsaw, IN; his sisters: Helen Johnson of Plymouth, IN; Marjorie Dickson of Black Canyon City, AZ; his brother, Guy (Irene) Dickson of Casa Grande, AZ; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: William Dickson; James Dickson; Jon Dickson; Geneva (Dickson) Graham; Richard Dickson; and Cynthia (Dickson) Warner.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).

Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery (Bourbon, IN).
