Patricia A. Steiner, 81, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Ernestine M. Raclin House in Mishawaka. A lifelong resident of Plymouth, Pat was born on April 7, 1943 to Johnny and Wanda (Taylor) Lowry.
Pat was a proud graduate of Plymouth High School. After graduating, she devoted her life to family, welcoming and raising her beloved children, Jason and Neika. She found joy in spending her free time playing bingo, engaging in various card games, working on puzzles, and enjoying board games with her loved ones.
Pat’s life was forever altered following a car accident in high school, which led to lasting effects on her health. Despite these hardships, she remained a warm and friendly person, often described as talkative and approachable. Her sociable nature made her well-suited for her work as a clerk, where she enjoyed connecting with others and fostering relationships.
Throughout the years, family and work were integral parts of Pat’s life, and she will be fondly remembered for her resilient spirit and the love she shared with those around her.
Pat is survived by her children, Jason (Stacey) Steiner and Neika (Jason) Smessaert; grandchildren, Nora, Broc, Rikki, Paige, Laken, Tori and Ariana; and sister-in-law, Barb Lowry.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Wanda; and siblings, Marion “Bub” Lowry and Sandra Cox.
Pat will be laid to rest with her parents at New Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 11:30AM with Life Celebrant James Smart officiating.
