Patricia Browning, 67, of Culver

Patricia Browning, 67, of Culver passed away surrounded by her family on October 28, 2024. She was born to James and Shirley Casbon on November 17, 1956 in Plymouth.

Pat attended Plymouth High School graduating from the Class of 1975. She would go on to marry Craig Browning in 1985 and together, they would create a lifetime of memories with their family. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was the most important thing to her. She worked diligently to ensure her children had everything they needed, often prioritizing their needs above her own.

Through the years, Pat worked at Tenneco Automotive and McGill’s. She would go on to display her love for animals during her time working at Parrett Veterinary Clinic before her retirement.

In her leisure time, Pat found joy in the great outdoors, enjoying pursuits such as hunting deer, squirrels, and foraging for mushrooms in the spring. She also cherished creative activities during her younger years, often crocheting and sewing outfits for her daughters' dolls. As a grandmother, her life blossomed further; she delighted in crafting cookies, making strawberry jelly, and watching her grandsons play at their sporting events. Pat would even go out of her way to send treats to those who lived farther away to ensure they felt loved and spoiled.

Everyone who knew Pat knew she was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Many unforgettable moments were shared at Wrigley Field, where she enjoyed watching games with her family. Pat will be lovingly remembered for her caring nature, infectious joy, and strong-willed spirit.

Pat is survived by her husband, Craig; children, Angie (Jennifer Addington) Wilson, Stephanie (Jason) Keller, Justin Browning, and Kasi (Tyler) Mutarelli; grandchildren, Chase, Carter, Ansley, Finn, and one on the way; siblings, Carol (Dave) Fehrer, Mark (Staci) Casbon, and Judy Casbon; along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Shirley.

Per Pat’s wishes, there will be no services held.

In honor of Pat’s love for animals, memorial contributions can be made to the Marshall County Humane Society, PO Box 22, Plymouth, IN 46563.
