Patricia “Pat” Kolar, age 95, of Argos, IN passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home of Plymouth, IN.
Pat was born the daughter of James P. and Beatrice (Mercier) Doody on March 4, 1927, in Chicago, IL. She was a resident of the Plymouth area most of her life. She worked for R.R. Donnelley in Warsaw, IN. She married Jerome Kolar on May 15, 1948, in Argos, IN and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2003. She attended St. Michael Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, spoiling her pets, knitting, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Pat is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth “Liz” Miller of Plymouth, IN; Patricia Paul of Culver, IN; her sons: Jerome Kolar of Argos, IN; James Kolar of Argos, IN; George (Margaret) Kolar of Tucson, AZ; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; her brother: Arthur (Grace) Doody of Woodridge, IL; her sisters: Irene Lisak of Culver, IN; Beatrice Bearon of Sarasota, FL; Georgia Ford of Kewanna, IN; and Martha Rasario of Puerto Rico.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; her grandson, Jason Ransome; her sisters: Kathleen Vires; and Jean Henny; her brothers, James Doody; Terry Doody; Danny; and Patrick Doody.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).
Burial will follow in New Oak Hill Cemetery (Plymouth, IN).
