Philip L. Sporner, 62, of Culver passed away on July 4, 2022, at his home.
Born on July 18, 1959, Phil was the son of Carl D. and Patricia A. (Luse) Sporner. He graduated from Triton High School.
In April of 1983, Philip married the love of his life, Colleen K. O’Keefe in the former Sunrise Chapel in Plymouth.
Phil was a truck driver for several companies through the years and retired due to health reasons.
He was caring, always joking and loving. Phil adored being with his grandchildren and his dog, Betty. He enjoyed tractors and fishing.
He is survived by his daughters, Sabrina (Justin) Brown of Nappanee and Carlee Sporner of Bremen; daughter-in-law Kayla Sporner of Nappanee; best friend Colleen O’Keefe; grandchildren: Jozlyn, Bailee, Jaxon, Jaclyn, Addisyn, Dawson, Kaydence, Dallas and Ryder; and his favorite and loyal companion, Betty.
Phil is also survived by his siblings: Susan (Michael) Krantz, Brian (Trisha) Sporner, Dan (Kathy) Sporner, Pete (Margaret) Sporner and Scott (Mel) Sporner.
He was preceded in death by his son Joshua Sporner, his parents and his brother, Mike Sporner.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
