Phyllis J. Pippenger, 95, of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, in her residence. On November 15th, 1928, she was born in St. Joseph County, Indiana to Roy G. and Nellie R. (Clabaugh) Franklin. She was united in marriage to John J. Pippenger on November 17, 1946, in Tyner, who preceded her in death on December 9th, 2006. A lifetime resident of Marshall County, Phyllis was a graduate of Tyner High School, Class of 1946. She was a homemaker and a member of Blissville Church of the Brethren, Plymouth. She also was a former member of Polk Township Home Ec Club. Phyllis is survived by two sons, Michael Roy Pippenger and Joseph Glenn Pippenger, both of Plymouth: one daughter, Barbara Ellen (Delbert) Wolff, Plymouth; one sister, Joyce (Wayne) Lacher, Plymouth. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also preceded by her parents, 2 sons, James Russell Pippenger and John Delbert Pippenger, brother, Omer E. Franklin and two sisters, Lula L. Allsop and Betty L. Weigand. Graveside services will be held on at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 19, 2024, in Tyner Cemetery, Tyner, with Pastor Shellie Jankowski officiating.
