Priscilla J. Childs, age 95 of Plymouth, IN passed away on February 5, 2022 in her home.
Priscilla was born on July 13, 1926 to John and Priscilla (Filips) Draus in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She married George Childs on October 16, 1945 in Hartford, Connecticut, and he preceded her in death on March 18, 2011. She and George owned and operated the G & W Supermarket. She was a member of the Red Hats of Plymouth, IN and attended the Marshall County Church of Christ. She was an avid card player and loved to knit in her spare time.
Priscilla will be missed by her sons: John (Phyllis) Childs of Plymouth, IN; Bill (Patricia) Childs of Kankakee, IL; her sister, Betty Younger of Yonkers, NY; her brother, Joseph Draus of Louisville, KY; her 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; her sisters: Martha; Mary; Bertha; Ann; and her bothers: Tom; Tim; Ed; Frank; and John.
No services have been planned at this time.
Burial will take place in Lacon Cemetery (Lacon, IL).
