Sandra Kay Schori, 70, went to be with the lord on June 22, 2024 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne. She was born on July 30, 1953 to Samuel and Audrey (Hensley) Wright.
A proud resident of Marshall County throughout her life, Sandy joined hands in marriage with Kenneth Schori on December 20, 1974, at the Church of Jesus Christ in Argos. Their lives are a reflection of their dedication to their faith and each other. Sundays were brightened by Sandy’s harmonic voice and graceful piano playing during church services.
At the core of her identity was the loving role of a homemaker guided by her unwavering faith. Raising their children – Angel, Tabitha, Dathan, and Gabriel – Sandy infused each moment with teachings of love and discipline. Known for her ability to provide both firm guidance and lighthearted joy, she touched the lives of many families within the church community.
Beyond her nurturing spirit, Sandy found solace in simple pleasures like crocheting. Her affection for animals was evident through her cherished dogs who brought boundless happiness into their home.
One enduring legacy that Sandy leaves behind is the tradition of celebrating the importance of family. The joy she found in annual Christmas gatherings will forever be a cherished memory among those closest to her.
Sandy Schori will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for the love she shared, the faith she embodied, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.
