WARSAW-Sandra Kay (Weaver) Jackson LCSW passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2025, and entered into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on December 1, 1945, Sandra grew up in LaPaz, Indiana. She dedicated her life to helping others, earning her bachelor's degree from Manchester College, a Master of Social Work from Indiana University and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from IUPUI. She worked as a social worker and Christian counselor, founding Heart to Heart Counseling, where she provided guidance and support to many in need. On July 5, 1977, Sandra (Pooh) married Jerry Douglas Jackson (Fred), with whom she shared a loving life. She was a devoted mother to her five children: John (Jen) Bollenbacher, William (Trena) Bollenbacher, Crystal Mata, Shawn Harville, and Todd Harville. Her family grew to include 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Sandra had a deep love for gardening and took great joy in cultivating beautiful flower beds. She and Jerry also loved to fish, travel and give pontoon rides to those who visited. However, her greatest passion was her family. She prayed fervently for all to come to know Jesus as their Savior. She was a longtime member of New Song Church in Plymouth, Indiana, where she worshiped for 17 years.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Elson and Doris Weaver; her brother John (Sue) Weaver; and two grandchildren, Doug Bollenbacher and Paige Harville. She is survived by her siblings Gene (Donna) Weaver, Jo (John) Thomas, Pam (Terry) Hansen, Don (Vicki) Weaver, Tricia Roberts, Charles (Alma) Weaver, Anita (Ron) Belt, Angie Smith. Sandra’s unwavering faith and love for others left a lasting impact on all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and inspiration to those she touched.
