William Roy McCollough, 63, of Plymouth passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2024. He was born at Parkview Hospital in Plymouth on April 12, 1961 to Loren D. McCollough, Sr. and Jean L. Bender Dean.
Bill graduated from LaVille High School with the Class of 1980. He worked as a dedicated Foundry worker for many years until his health no longer allowed. For the last 20 years, Bill worked as maintenance for Dairy Queen in Plymouth.
While Bill was a private person, he had a kind heart for animals. He was also passionate about taking care of his cars and was especially particular about caring for his 1970 Fastback Mustang. Bill was Alice Cooper and KISS fan and liked playing his guitar on various occasions. In his younger years, Bill liked to deer hunt.
Bill is survived by his mother, Jean Dean; siblings, Connie Overmyer (Vaughn Eastburn), Ronald McCollough, Sr., Judith Siple, Loren (Karen) McCollough, Jr., Michele (Shawn) Harley; step-mother, Ethel McCollough; step-siblings, Sherry (Rick) Cockcroft and Rodger Walker; many nieces and nephews; and his kitties, Mittens and Felix.
He is preceded in death by his father, Loren D. McCollough, Sr. and brother-in-law, Tom Overmyer.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 12PM at Oakhill Cemetery, 1300 Chester Street, Plymouth, IN 46563 with Pastor Michelle Leonard officiating.
