Parke Heritage High School and Parke Heritage Middle School vocal students earned gold medals in the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Honey Creek Middle School on February 8.
Participating in Group 1 in the vocal solo, Ella Lacy advanced to the state contest to be held on Saturday, February 22.

PHMS choir members Laney Crowder and Bella Bundy earned golds with their vocal solos. In the piano division, Emelia Chapman and Andrew Allen also received gold medals. Andrew earned a perfect score with his piano piece.
The choir director is Mr. Alec Moeller.
