A Hendricks County Deputy is dead after being electrocuted.
The deputy was responding to an accident near Plainfield when he accidentally made contact with a downed power line. The shock left the deputy, who was identified as Fred Fislar, seriously injured. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital, where he later died.
