Happy Together: 7:30 p.m.

The Happy Together Tour 2024, which consists of six acts: The Turtles, Jay & The Americans, The Association, Badfinger ft. Joey Molland, The Vogues and The Cowsills, will perform on the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage tonight. Happy Together will have a fun and energetic show that will bring everyone joy.

Governor’s Cup Harness Racing: 11 a.m. & 5 p.m.

The Indiana State Fair Governor’s Cup Harness Racing event is set to take place today at the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand. It’s a thrilling showcase of speed and skill, and a highlight of the fair’s entertainment lineup. Admission to the race is free with paid fair admission.

Celebrity Milking Competition: 11:30 a.m.

Local Indianapolis celebrities will be attempting to get as much milk from a cow in one minute. The celebrity with the most milk will win a special prize!

ILLUMINATE! Outdoors -> The Backyard

Back by popular demand! We’re moving last year’s smash hit ILLUMINATE! Outdoors to The Backyard with 14 all-new immersive lantern sculptures. Experience the spectacular display of artistry every day of the Fair!

State Fair Outdoor Basketball Court-> GATE 12           

We’re Hoosiers! As if we could just say ‘bye-bye!’ to Basketball. Our brand-new outdoor court is now open and is a permanent addition to the Fair! Open daily for free-play 9 AM-9PM, located just inside Gate 12. Camps & Contest Dates; vary

Indiana Lore & Tall Tales-> MHS Family Fun Park          

Enter, if you dare, the Indiana History Train! In this immersive exhibit highlighting the tall tales Hoosiers have shared for generations, you’ll learn the supernatural history of houses & buildings, bridges, & railways, parks & cemeteries, and seemingly impossible creatures that lurk across the State! Travel through regions of Indiana and trace the roots of our spooky past- open daily 9AM-8PM in MHS Family Fun Park.

Artscape: Where Imagination Grows Anila Agha’s All the flowers Are for Me: Turquoise Newfields Performances, Demos & Gift shop Exclusive Conversation with Anila Agha!-> Harvest Pavilion      

Anila Agha is an Indianapolis- based artist, internationally recognized for her large-scale installations. With these award-winning works, Agha creatively uses light, shadow, and pattern to provide a uniquely immersive and inclusive art experience that’s meant to be shared. Newfields invites you to bask in the glow of her piece All the Flowers are For Me: Turquoise- on display every day of the Fair in Harvest Pavilion!

The Greatest American Duck Race-> MHS Family Fun Park

One water track. Four duck lanes. Countless smiles! Whether you’re chosen to participate pr not, everyone’s a winner at this unique and educational spectacle of swimming game! Wander into MHS Family Fun Park at 12PM, 2PM, 4PM & 6:30 PM to catch The Great American Duck Race. An additional 10:30AM show will take place on Saturdays & Sundays.

Watch Fido & Friends fetch for their life in celebration park! Catch the incredible Dock Dogs show at the Indiana State Fair! Watch dogs soar through the air in amazing high-flying water jumps. Fun and excitement for the whole family!

Craig Thurston-> The TapRoom

Take a break in the cool air-conditioned TapRoom, crab a beverage, and listen to some great live music from Craig Thurston, the very talented vocalist and guitarist!

The Happy Together Tour 2024 consists of six acts: The Turtles, Jay & The Americans, The Association, Badfinger ft. Joey Molland, The Vogues and The Cowsills. These artists had their biggest hits in the 60’s and 70’s and brought timeless sounds and songs like “Happy Together” by the Turtles, one of the most recognizable songs of that time period. These bands combined have multiple No. 1 hits with this tour starting in 1984. Since then the band has consistently knocked out 50 shows a year, making this tour an iconic homage to an era of music that has influenced many of today’s artists. The tour has consisted of several different bands and artists throughout the nearly 40 years it has been running, with the only constant band being The Turtles.
