\n\nAiko (Akiyama) Couch, daughter of the late Yoshie Akiyama and Jyun (Miyauchi) Akiyama, was born April 23, 1935 at Usami, Japan, and departed this life December 12, 2023 at Rosedale, Indiana at the age of 88 years.\n\nShe was united in marriage September 24, 1956 at Yokohama, Japan to James “Bill” Couch, who precede her in death, along with her parents and siblings, two brothers and three sisters.\n\nShe is survived by three daughters, Vickie (Bill) Greene of Clinton, Indiana, Betty (Gary) Winters of Rockville, Indiana, and Nancy (Rod) Mace of Carbon, Indiana, eight grandchildren, Paul (Jamie) Greene, Bryan (Adria) Greene, Greg Winters, Jessica (Jeremy) Jeffers, Jacqueline (Luke) Steinke, Nicole (Mike) Jeffries, Derek (Elizabeth) Mace, and Clint (Bridgette) Mace, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.\n\nA private family visitation will be held and inurnment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later date.
