B. Jane O’Dell, 70, of Brazil, passed away December 8, 2024. Jane was born to the late David Clester and Agnes Marie (Webster) Snow on September 20, 1954 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Jane graduated from Brazil High School in 1972. After high school she began working Clay County Hospital in the cafeteria. She then went on to work at Windbreaker in Brazil, as well as Forest Park Elementary where she was an aide. She also worked in the Clerks Office at the Clay County Courthouse where she retired from. Jane loved traveling with her husband Melvin, they visited Branson many times. In her free time, she loved wordsearches and also riding motorcycles.
Jane is preceded in death by, her parents, two daughters, Leslie Pflueger, and Melanie Brookshire, a brother, Lanny Snow, as well as her first husband, Mark Pflueger.
Jane is survived by her husband, Melvin O’Dell, a step-son, Doug O’Dell (Marci), one granddaughter, Hallie, a brother, Gale Snow (Jean), and a sister, Cindy Anderson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 13th from 11-1 at Lawson Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.
