\n\nROCKVILLE-Barbara Jean Roosevelt, 82, of Rockville, Indiana passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was the retired co-owner of the Rockville Super Valu from 1978-1993. She was born January 9, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Rose Koehn Munsterman.\n\nSurvivors include her husband of 61 years, Howard V. Roosevelt whom she married November 26, 1961, in Seymour, Illinois. Also surviving, one son, Chester Roosevelt of Rockville; three grandchildren, Billy Bettis, Ethan Roosevelt, and Lily Roosevelt all of Rockville; several nieces and cousins.\n\nShe was a graduate of Mohamet Illinois High School. She enjoyed quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.\n\nGraveside memorial service will be 11:00 am (Indiana time) Saturday, November 25, at Grandview Memorial Gardens, 4112 W. Bloomington Road, Champaign, Illinois.
