Charles Bradley Bemis, 62, of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly Rockville

Charles Bradley Bemis, 62, of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of Rockville, Indiana passed away Friday, November 8, 2024. He was born November 2, 1962, in Clinton, Indiana to Charles Ray Bemis and Sandra Forrest Bemis. 

He was preceded in death by his father Charles. Survivors include his mother, Sande Bemis; his uncle, Stephen Forrest of Corona, California; his two sisters, Mary Elizabeth (Buffy) Bumgardner (Tom) of Zionsville and Bethany Britt Lowery (Norm) of Terre Haute; nephews and niece, Forrest Lowery (Lizzie), Elizabeth Lowery, Hopper Bumgardner and Wrigley Bumgardner. 

He was a 1981 graduate of Rockville High School and a 1985 graduate of Indiana University. Brad was a member of the Alpha Omicron chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and was a proud member of the Singing Hoosiers at Indiana University. He was a member of the Rockville First United Methodist Church. 

Brad worked as a product manager in telecommunications for nearly twenty years and worked providing consulting services in design and marketing. He loved the city of Atlanta and his many friends, enjoyed spending time landscaping and gardening around his home, and following IU basketball. 

 A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 23, at 2:00 pm in Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Pastor Steve Blaydes, Jr. officiating.

Inurnment will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville.

Visitation is from 12 noon until 2:00 pm on Saturday.
