\n\nConnie “Joe” Ratcliff, 77, of Mecca, Indiana, passed away August 7, 2023, at Clinton Gardens in Clinton, Indiana. Born June 4, 1946, in Kingman, Indiana, he was the son of Leroy Ratcliff and Maxine Lientz Ratcliff. He is survived by his wife, Linda Stites Ratcliff. They were married in 1971 in Niles, Michigan.\n\nJoe served in the U.S. Army, He worked in Terre Haute at the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant for 15 years and most recently was a carpet installer with his brother-in-law, Glen Stites.\n\nAlso surviving are 3 sisters, Virginia Taylor, Jane Ratcliff, and Tessa Ratcliff; 3 brothers-in-law, Glen Stites, Larry Stites, and Robert Taylor; 2 sisters-in-law, Vickie Jackson, and Betty Gower; 34 nieces and nephews; and 29 great-nieces and great-nephews.\n\nJoe was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Tammy Ratcliff, and Pamela Sue Ratcliff; and brother, Ronnie Ratcliff.\n\nCremation has been chosen with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.\n\nArrangements were entrusted to Barnes and Rice Funeral Home of Rockville, Indiana.\n\n\n \n\nTo plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Connie, please visit our Tree Store or plant a tree.\n
