Donald Edward Buchanan 62, of Celina, TN, passed away Thursday morning April 3, 2025 in Bainbridge, IN.
Donald was born June 2, 1962 in Cloverdale, IN to the late Hugh E. Buchanan and Betty L. (Hanlon) Buchanan.
On February 24, 1996 Donald married Denisa K. Wilmoth. They have shared 29 wonderful years of marriage.
Donald was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry for many years. He took great pride in the work he did with the heavy equipment clearing land that was going to be used to build businesses and homes. He was also an avid outdoorsman. When he wasn’t working, he was with his family and could be found in the woods hunting or looking for deer at the deer camp. He and his wife Denisa worked together in his own construction business also. You rarely saw one without the other. They were a team through everything whether it was work or family.
Survivors include his wife Denisa K. Buchanan, his five children: Jessica L. McCaslin (William E.), Amanda Buchanan, Justin L. Buchanan (Sara), Steve Rhoton (Heather), Tommy Francis (April), four grandchildren, Cherika, William “Bub”, Blake, and Olivia, five siblings, Sharon Denny, Sheila Jones, Dennis Lambert (Pam), Karla Thomas, and Becky Elkins (Toby).
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ronald “Bub” Buchanan.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 1pm – 4pm at his son Justin Buchanan’s home at 2934 E. US Hwy 36 Bainbridge, IN 46105.
