Jack Gilfoy, Jr., 75, of Clinton, passed away Saturday May 17, 2025 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute. Jack was born October 29, 1949 to Jack Gilfoy, Sr. and Elizabeth Manship Gilfoy

Jack owned and operated Model Cleaners since 1985, a dry cleaning business started by his Grandfather in 1939. He also served the community of Clinton as Mayor since January 1, 2012. He served on the Clinton Board of Works and Safety from 2008 through 2011.

A funny, humble man and a true Public Servant, Jack was passionate about Clinton and his administration. He surrounded himself with the best. He helped many people throughout the years and will continue to do so through the Indiana Donor Network.

Preceding Jack in death are his parents and brothers Jackie and Ray.

Survivors include Joyce, his wife of 45 years, Ray’s sisters Martha Vitanemi (Gary) and Vicki Spendal (Jim). Also surviving are Sister-in-Law Liz Gilfoy, Sister-in-Law Brenda Bird (Mark), several nieces and great nieces, nephews and great nephews and all the “grand children” he collected over the years.

Honoring Jack’s wishes, cremation has been chosen and there will be no service.
