\n\nTERRE HAUTE-Kerrie Jo Barnes, 49, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.\n\nShe was born August 27, 1973, in Hoagland, Indiana to Von Hoffacker and Johanna Knox Hoffacker.\n\nSurvivors include her husband of 25 years, B J Barnes whom she married January 24, 1998, in Terre Haute; two sons, Mason Barnes and Pierson Barnes both of Terre Haute; her mother of Fort Wayne; brother, Shen (Michelle) Hoffacker of Fort Wayne; nephew, Alex Hoffacker; niece Madison Hoffacker.\n\nShe was a graduate of Heritage High School and attended Indiana State University where she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.\n\nA private burial will be held.\n\nArrangements entrusted to the care of Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, Rosedale.\n\nOnline condolences may be shared at www.goochfuneralhome.com.\n\n\n \n\nTo send flowers to the family of Kerrie, please visit our floral store.\n
