\n\nROSEDALE-Mary Ann Williams, 85, of rural Rosedale, Indiana passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute.\n\nShe was the retired owner/operator of the Williams Pharmacy in Rosedale from 1970-1997.\n\nShe was born October 29, 1937, in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Herbert Sholten and Dorothy Switzer Sholten.\n\nHer husband of 63 years, G. Max Williams whom she married December 12, 1959, in Henderson, Kentucky survives. Also surviving, one daughter, Karen L. (Eddie Davis) Scully of Terre Haute; three sons, Carey (Shari Burkeybile) Williams of Palm Beach, Florida, Chip (Joann) Williams of Rosedale and Clint (Kelly Simon) Williams of Rosedale; three sisters, Dorothy Franklin of Terre Haute, Martha Sholten of Terre Haute and Katie (Paul) Danielsen of Brazil; three grandchildren, Ian Miller of Terre Haute, Krislyn Griffin of Terre Haute and Cole Williams of Rosedale; one great-grandchild, Brantley Miller of Terre Haute; several nieces and nephews.\n\nShe was a 1955 graduate of Paul C. Schulte High School in Terre Haute and worked for Indiana Bell Telephone. She was a former member of St. Leonard Catholic Church in West Terre Haute. She was a member of the American Legion auxiliary post 104, Terre Haute. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and was an excellent cook.\n\nMass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Wednesday, April 26, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1807 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, with Father Ben Syberg officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley. Visitation will be from 10 am until 11 am Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church.\n\nMemorials should friends so desire, may be made to Parke-Vermillion Humane Society, PO Bo 155, Clinton, Indiana 47842 in her memory.
