\n\nFILLMORE-Mary Phyllis Thompson, 74, of Fillmore, Indiana passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 surrounded by family.\n\nMary was born March 3, 1949, in Brazil, Indiana to the late Homer Fox and Phyllis Apfel Fox.\n\nShe married William “Bill” Thompson on March 6, 1993, and he survives.\n\nMary graduated from Rosedale High School in 1967. Mary worked many years at Greencastle Nursing Home, Techno Trim and Wal-Mart.\n\nMary is survived by her siblings, Jimmy Fox of Rosedale, Jo Anne Fox of Roachdale; her children, Lori (Larry) Nauman and Lonnie (Kathy) Morlan all of Fillmore; stepdaughter, Jackie (Joseph) Gregory of Tuscumbia, Alabama; five grandchildren, Gregory, Ryan, Derrick, Kaitlin, and Keyara; 13 great-grandchildren whom she loved very much!!\n\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, sister Janice Allen and son Larry Morlan, Jr.\n\nServices will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 24, at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, 281 N. Main Street, Rosedale. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
