\n\nMelissa Ann Tidwell, 54, of Rockville, passed away, August 28, 2023, at her residence. She was born September 20, 1968, in Clinton, Indiana, the daughter of Mickey J Thomas and Phyllis A. Britton Thomas. She married David Lewis Tidwell on December 18, 1993, at the Marshall Federated Church.\n\nMelissa was homemaker and loved to cook and make meals for her family. Loved to go camping and fishing and take buggy rides. A loving Wife, Sister, Mother and Granny. She loved family get-togethers and enjoyed spending time with loved ones.\n\nMelissa is survived by her husband, David of Rockville; 5 children, Tyler Evans (Stephanie) of Rockville, Brionna Evans (Colten Coddington) of Montezuma, Trey Evans (Chassity) of Kentucky, D.J. Bishop of Rockville, and Michael “Boog” Thomas of Rockville. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Mickey Thomas (Mary) of Florida, Jeff Thomas (Dawn) of Montezuma, Richie Thomas of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her parents.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 12:00 noon at the Marshall Federated Church in Marshall, Indiana, with Pastor Brian Holt officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery east of Marshall.
