Patricia A. "GP" (Gram Pat) Hadley Dickison, 84, of Brazil

Patricia A. "GP" (Gram Pat) Hadley Dickison, 84, departed this earth for her heavenly home, Monday, March, 24. 2025 after a brief illness with the support of VNA Home Hospice.

She was born January 29, 1941 to May E. (West) Hadley. She graduated from Brazil High School May 17, 1958. She married Chester A. Hamm (deceased) in 1958 and gave birth to her only child, Mary Ann, in 1961.

She married John C. Hayes (deceased) in 1967. She then married Dale Dickison January 2, 1996.

She was a lifelong resident of Brazil save for a brief few years in Indianapolis. She was a true and faithful servant of God her entire life, currently worshipping and active at Harmony McKinley Chapel. She worked at P.R. Mallory/Black & Decker for 32 years. Upon retirement, she pursued her second career of cleaning homes, offices, and the church, taking in laundry and ironing, baking and cooking, and caring for her many clients. Her proudest accomplishments in life were being Mom to her daughter, Mary Ann, and GP to her grandchildren Michael and Katie whom she loved fiercely and were the lights of her life. She loved her garden and flowers, audio books, and staying active participating in an aerobics group that became family for more than 35 years, as well as joining Silver Sneakers in recent years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, her sister Mary J. Girton, niece Vicki Hadley, nephew Brett Neier, and niece Kathy Cooksey.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Lindzy (Dave), sisters Eva Latham and Ruby Crouse, brother Gib Hadley, stepdaughter Nancy Hamm Williamson, grandchildren Michael Price (Julie) and Katie Price, great grandchildren Gavin (Katie), Shay, Darin, Toby, and Evie, great great grandsons Mateo and Ezra, nieces LaVonna Hadley Reed, (Lori), Cynthia Martin, Susan Neier Hood (Jeff), nephews Kevin Hadley (Peggy), Larry Latham (Jennifer), and many extended relatives, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 28, from 11-1 at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil.

A funeral service will begin at 1 P.M.

Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.
