The family relocated to Montezuma in 1971, where they owned and operated the Phillips 66 Service Station and became known for their beans and cornbread stand at the Covered Bridge Festival.

A gifted musician, Pat played the piano at the Rockville Baptist Church and the Independent Baptist Church in Montezuma for several years. Pat worked in the medical field most of her life and retired as the social services director at Castle Shannon Nursing Home in Rockville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Terry, and her canine best friend Penny Poo. Pat is survived by her children, 15 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
