\n\nROSEDALE- Robert M. Carrithers, 67, of Rosedale passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, at his residence.\n\nHe was a Warehouse operator for Great Dane in Terre Haute with 23 ½ years of service and a farmer for 20 years.\n\nHe was born December 26, 1955, in Clinton, Indiana to the William Carrithers and Pauline Sills Carrithers.\n\nHe is survived by this wife Karen Yeargin Carrithers. Also surviving his mother of Terre Haute; two daughters, K. Michelle (Michael) Gallagher of Rosedale, Sherri Elizabeth (Larry Jenkins, Jr.) Sauer- Jenkins of Rosedale; four siblings, Kathy Hardesty of Terre Haute, Jerry Carrithers of Rosedale, Debbie Yeargin of Rosedale, and Doug Carrithers of Fontanet; six grandchildren, Rowan, Hunter, Rylann, Seth, Regann and Braylyn; several nieces and nephews.\n\nHe was a graduate of Terre Haute North High school and a member of the Sons of American Legion Tony Kashon Post 290 in Rosedale. He was a hard worker. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.\n\nServices will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 5 at Cottrell- Gooch Funeral Home, 281 N Main Street Rosedale, with Pastor Keith B. McIntyre officiating.
