"By removing financial barriers and streamlining the admissions process, we are ensuring that more students can access the quality education Indiana State University is known for," said Dr. Godard. "We want to support students who have demonstrated academic excellence and provide them with a direct path to becoming part of the Sycamore family."
Highlights of the Admission Policy:
No Application Fee: Domestic undergraduate students can now apply to Indiana State University at no cost.
Priority Admission: High school students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher will receive direct priority admission, expediting their acceptance into the University.
Tuition-Free Guarantee for Pell-Eligible Students: Indiana State offers four years of in-state tuition for qualified, Pell-eligible students in Indiana, Illinois, and multiple other states. Students must have at least a 2.75 high school GPA to qualify.
Experience Grants: Indiana State offers an Experience Grant worth up to $3,000 to support an out-of-classroom learning opportunity. This can be an internship, service trip, undergraduate research, creative activity, or study-abroad experience.
