Myron Duane Bruce, 89, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly, on February 17, 2025.
He was born on March 6, 1935, in Centerpoint, Indiana the son of John Henry and Ona (Simpson) Bruce. He graduated from Kokomo High School with the class of 1952. Following high school Myron enlisted in the United States Army where he served in Germany, in Telecommunications, until he was honorably discharged. As a civilian, Myron worked for Delco Electronics. He retired in 1987, at the age of 52 years old. He especially enjoyed spending time out doors, fishing, gardening and birdwatching.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ona Bruce and his wife Sandra (Lytle) Bruce.
Survivors include his daughter Carol Dauenhauer and husband Mike; son Bryan Bruce; grandchildren: James Hastings and wife Lera and Brittani Taneja; and two sisters: Delores Daisy and Paula Smith both of Kokomo.
A celebration of life will be held at his home at a later date.
