The GIANT fm radio network will broadcast the 52nd Annual Indiana High School Athletic Association football state championship games Friday in Class 2A and Class 4A.
The radio broadcast from Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis will begin at 11 a.m. with Adams Central (13-1) taking on Linton-Stockton (12-2).
Pay Boylan and Jan Boser will handle to on-air radio duties with Jeremiah Johnson serving as the sideline reporter.
Adams Central is making its fourth-straight championship game appearance and its first in Class 2A. The Flying Jets have lost the last three Class A state championships to Indianapolis Lutheran.
The program’s only state title came in 2000.
Linton-Stockton is playing in its first state championship game since winning the 2016 title in Class A.
The Class 4A championship game between East Noble (13-1) and New Palestine (13-0) follows at 3 p.m.
Mark Jaynes and Lance Scheib will handle the radio broadcast with Kelsie Kasper doing the sideline reporting.
East Noble is making its second Class 4A state championship game appearance in the last five years. The Knights’ only state title came 24 years ago.
New Palestine is competing in its sixth state championship game and fifth in the last 11 years. The Dragons are attempting to become the 20th school to win four or more football state titles.
New Palestine’s previous state championships came in 2014 (4A) and 2018 and 2019 (both in 5A).
