February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month and Blue River Career Programs will be spotlighting its programs and a student from each program Monday through Friday in the Shelby County Post during the month of February.

The CTE spotlight today is 2009 Auto Body Collision Repair graduate Bryan Rosales (photo).

“BRCP helped me to pursue and further my interest and education in the automotive collision field,” said Rosales.

Rosales offers advice for today’s students at BRCP.

“I would say that teenage distractions are a waste. Don't get stuck in the moment,” he said. “Focus on bigger and better aspirations that will better yourself in life. Adulting smacks you hard in the face, so it's best to be prepared. Do your part to be a productive citizen.”

The Shelby County Post is a digital newspaper producing news, sports, obituaries and more without a pay wall or subscription needed.
