With temperatures pushing into the 90s Friday, the Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department is offering a free way to cool down.
Youth ages 18-and-under can enjoy the Meridian Park Family Aquatic Center for free. Accompanying adults will still pay the regular admission fee of $5.
The Free Admission Kids Day runs from noon to 4 p.m. and will include games, prizes, music, dancing and more.
The aquatic center is located at 101 McKinley Street in Shelbyville.
