Schwartzkopf is currently a senior at Purdue University pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communications. She grew up on a crop and beef operation in Hope.
Marnie Schwartzkopf, daughter of Jeff and Mary Schwartzkopf of Hope, is the recipient of the Cyndi Young Scholarship, sponsored by Brownfield Ag News and presented by the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) Foundation.
Schwartzkopf is currently a senior at Purdue University pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communications. She grew up on a crop and beef operation in Hope, Indiana, igniting her deep-rooted passion for agriculture at an early age. Her involvement grew from there, with active participation in 4-H and FFA throughout elementary and high school.
Marnie serves as the Purdue Ag Week Task Force President and manages social media for Sigma Alpha Women in Agriculture Sorority. She is excited to pursue a career in agricultural digital marketing.
Since 1977, the NAFB Foundation has provided financial support and educational opportunities in the form of college scholarships to assist student in pursuit of careers in agricultural communications. To date, 161 students have received scholarships totaling $685,750. The NAFB Foundation presented $77,500 in college scholarships to ten outstanding students this year.
